I have had a 2 1/2 foot bamboo plant for 6 years. It has sentimental value (from an arrangement at my fathers funeral. It curls several times and has 2 offshoots with leaves. In the last 10 days it has been yellowing from the bottom, the first 6-8 inches. I can't think of any changes that would cause this. Is there any chance is can correct itself. Is it possible to cut off the dying part and get it to re-root? Does that require special enzymes?
