Is this a cherry plant?

Can someone tell me what plant this is? I planted some cherry pips so hopefully that's what it is, but I'm worried it might be a weed (the soil used is some we already had at the house).

Never mind, a friend of mine answered for me. Turns out it's rose bay willowherb. So basically, a weed!

Weed is in the eye of the beholder. You might really enjoy the flowers that bloom on this plant just as much as the common garden plants!
