My lily looks great,not my first one,,but it is the first one I've owned in my good old hometown of(I hate this place),WV.The ones I had in N. C. I could not have killed them if I was mafia & I do know alot on that subjust,But back to lilies.I brought it home with me after my grandmothers funeral.Best part of that event,I thought she would live forever,anywhos it was small to medium in size and it is now the same size 3 1/2 years later,But it looks great.Shiny leafs,1 bloom in dec. and I did repot it this past summer.I thought it was rootbound,really I brought it home put it somewhere in this (way too big of a house to leave an only child,I meam 6 bedrooms,51/2 baths --4levels lots and lots of stairs,did I tell you too many stairs? I am 36 but hell I single 4 ever ,no kids,1 himalayan cat,or I guess he's still here Havent seen him for a few.He has attitude and when he gets not what he wants or I can't get up the stairs fast enough 2 suit him ,well he disappers for days,excecpt when I making my way 2 the bathroom @ 3am or the kitchen 4 a glass of water or a pie/cake whatever,a snack--Im suddenly rammmed ,hard in my ankles legs ,or Im going down the stairs and suddenly out of no where something very soft and fuzzy warm darts right unger one of my feet as I lift it up to try 4 the next step .I usually just stop ponder eat a bite or two of what Ive found in frig.and I have no choice but to go on upward or sleep on hard wood stairs so I always go up then 3-6 steps up the same thing happens but this time after the run under foot drive by he just stops dead in his tracks so not only am I holdind on to the rails 4 my life I always seem 2 stumble forward and there it is stopped right in front of my feet so head over cat I go.I donT know of too many people that fall going up the steps,but I do. Yes I do often.Peace lily ,it came to live with me and to be honest I did not care for it at all 4 the first year or longer, but I just have to know why won't it grow? Also I do acually know where it is in this castle,the lower level tv room I have hotflashes I guess but really I could never sleep in the winter with the heat on ,maybe alittle 63 on the really cold nights, so is the lilly cold,2cold 2 grow,frozen in her prime ,she is really dead ,right?I'll unthaw her this spring and she'l just explode!!Please send me advice if u have a clue 2 what I have done Thnks So Much Wendi Wright Also very sorry 4 rambling on and on .Thats what happens when u live alone big big house evil pussy cat no kids ,no familt at all acually in a hell hole town in a hell hole of a state .Do Not Ever Come To WEST VIRGINIA,yer it is breathe taking mountaiains trees fields and a bunch of red neck stupid people I have ever encountered.I should be afraid living alone very small town ,but it would be daylight before they'd find me.I meam which room bed or level of this house I'd be in and if they did get lucky ,well there the cat.THANKS

I was given a Peace Lily by someone in my building. It has a lot of leaves that are brown at the tips. I see new growth should I separate the new growth from the mother plant? I have it where it gets sun in the morning.
