Hi everyone,
I bought a plant about 2 weeks ago for my house, and it doesn't seem strong at all. The leaves are falling off, they're droopy and some are turning a lighter green. I've watered it, and it's getting some sunlight so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help! Attached is a photo of its current state.

Looks like a Draceana Marginata that has been given too much water and possibly too much direct sunlight. I own an interior landscaping business. In my opinion take it back to where you got it and get another one. Even if this plant survives, which I don't think it can, it will take a very long time to look good again. Plants with thick leaves and woody stems hold water. Too much water in the soil causes root rot. All indoor plants are grown under shade cloths. Initial direct sun will kill a plant quickly. It's the equivalent of sunburn in humans. Just my thoughts. good luck.
