Do I need to Separate?

I bought some Better Boy tomato plants. There were six plants in the bag after I opened it. I put 4 in a pot together and two in the ground. Will I need to take some of the plants out of the pot? They are growing much faster than the 2 I put in the ground and are beginning to flower. Also, do I need to suckle them or just let them continue to produce at their own rate?
